In 1743, Zhou Jiamu founded Yunji Distillery in Dongpu, Shaoxing. The name “Yunji” signifies “a gathering of master brewers.”

First International Gold Award
Yunji Distillery received the Gold Award at the Panama–Pacific International Exposition, marking the very first international gold medal ever awarded to Shaoxing yellow wine.
1951
From “Yunji Distillery” to “Local State-Owned Yunji Winery”
Yunji Distillery was taken over by the People’s Government and renamed Local State-Owned Yunji Winery.

Approval for the National Central Wine Reserve
The state allocated special funds to construct the Shaoxing Yellow Wine Aging Central Warehouse within Yunji Winery.

Yellow Wine Served at the Great Hall of the People
Kuaijishan and Lanting branded Shaoxing yellow wine became the exclusive yellow wine served at state banquets in the Great Hall of the People, Beijing.

From “Dongfeng” to “Kuaijishan”
The company was renamed Kuaijishan Shaoxing Wine Co., Ltd. in 2005.
2016
Official Yellow Wine of the G20 Hangzhou Summit
Kuaijishan was selected as the designated yellow wine for the G20 Hangzhou Summit, served to international guests.
