Back in 1743, the predecessor of Kuaijishan, Yunji Distillery, was founded in Dongpu, Shaoxing. Over the following few centuries, the company remained dedicated to the craft of brewing, preserving traditional fermentation starters across generations and ensuring continuous production year after year.

As a leading enterprise in China’s yellow wine industry, a National Productive Protection Base for the Intangible Cultural Heritage “Shaoxing Yellow Wine Brewing Techniques,” and one of the drafting units for the national standards “Yellow Wine and Shaoxing Wine,” Kuaijishan has upheld the millennia-old brewing craftsmanship of Shaoxing. For more than a century, the company has focused on doing one thing well—using live spring water from Jian Lake, Jiangnan glutinous rice, and premium wheat to craft natural, healthy, and safe high-quality yellow wine.
