Kuaijishan Yellow Wine
Kuaijishan is one of the nine famed mountains of ancient China, located in Shaoxing, Zhejiang. For this reason, Shaoxing was historically known as Kuaiji.
According to “Jiu Gao,” an ancient Chinese historical text from the Jin Dynasty that records early winemaking traditions, yellow wine has been brewed at the foot of Kuaijishan for more than 2,000 years. The mountain is nourished by thirty-six streams that converge to form Jian Lake, a vital water source for yellow wine brewing.
To carry forward the millennia-old culture of yellow wine and honor its place of origin, Kuaijishan was chosen as the brand name.
